Start your year right! Wait on the Lord!
1 Corinthians 10:11 (NLT2)
'These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age.'
The Passion Translation puts the last part of the verse this way:
'...For we live in a time when the purpose of all the ages past is now completing its goal within us'
Is that what you are perceiving? Are you picking up on the urgency of the hour to align yourself with the purposes of God?
It is said that there are three kinds of people - those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who wonder what happened.
There is no time to waste. We must press into God.
This is the time of the NEW! Our experiences of the past are not going to prepare us for these days. These are the days where revelation is critical to perceive and apprehend the things that God has prepared for us.
These are days of great convergence where all flesh can 'hear' and 'see' into the realm of the spirit and create the Father's will in the earth as they embrace the outpouring of the Spirit that is available to us in this day.
We haven't been this way before, so join us at High Life Church as we start 2019 with a 21-day 'Daniel' fast; this is a 21 day journey to faith and intimacy with the Holy Spirit from the 6th - 26th of January.
What is a Daniel Fast?
2 When this vision came to me, I, Daniel had been in mourning for thee whole weeks. 3 All that time I had eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed.'
During a Daniel Fast, we dedicate three weeks to seek God's face about pertinent matters in our lives. He has promised that "When you come looking for me, you'll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." (Jer 29:13 MSG)
This is not a 6am-6pm fast. During the entire three weeks we may eat specific foods in small quantities and we spend a lot of time with the Lord.
The promise of the Lord to those who fast properly is that 'your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.' Is 58:8
